On January 25, 2024, Joel's Place transformed into a haven for food enthusiasts as they hosted a Lobster Medley, a night of culinary adventure featuring lobster three ways and fine wine. The event started at 7:00 p.m. and showcased a gastronomic journey that left guests in awe.

The evening commenced with the indulgent Lobster Bisque with Focaccia Crisps, a delightful creamy French soup with tender lobster chunks paired with a glass of Piccini Prosecco. The burst of apple and citrus flavor notes from the wine provided a refreshing balance to the lobster's sweetness, setting the stage for a night of gastronomic bliss.

Next on the menu was the Lobster and Dill Salad on a Bed of Mesclun Greens, a course that combined succulent lobster and fragrant dill on a bed of delicate fresh greens. Paired with Southern Ocean Sauvignon Blanc, the passion fruit and gooseberry notes intertwined with the salad's freshness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that lingered on the palate.

As the night unfolded, the pièce de résistance emerged. The grand finale of the evening was the Lobster Thermidor with Butter Garlic Capellini, a dish that fulfilled lobster gratin dreams with its rich, creamy texture and golden crisp finish. Paired with Caliterra Tributo Chardonnay, the bold and buttery notes of the wine complemented the dish's richness, while elegant floral hints and pear undertones elevated the flavor profile to a masterpiece.
