Joel’s Place celebrated good food, cool drinks, fun music, and a night of good company at the Sunset Soirée event last May 11, 2024, at the Plaza Garden lawns of Rockwell Proscenium. In collaboration with friends from Sunday Street Co and Philippine Wine Merchants (PWM), guests were treated to generous grazing platters, dessert tables, and cozy drinks at the bar.
The warm cast of the sunset’s glow signaled the start of the event, kicking off with cool lounges, casual tables, and tropical summer vibes. Guests mingled and warmed up with conversations over an abundant grazing table filled with assorted bread, spinach cronadas, roasted carrot hummus, vegetable crudités, baked brie, and roasted grape focaccia bites among others.
As the night progressed, candle-lit tables were ready for a more intimate catch-up with friends. The grazing platters, still as abundant as ever, are also loaded with sausages and peppers skillet, panzanella, chicken yakitori skewers, meatballs with yogurt dip, mushroom croquetas, smash burger sliders, pulled pork buns, and mortadella pasta salad. Alongside delicious food, the dessert table was an ultimate crowd-favorite boasting lemon meringue bites, coconut cake bites, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and a delectable chocolate fountain.
Guests also reveled in good music while indulging in signature drinks crafted at the bar. From red wine, white wine, and rosé to tropical bubble, gin, Sapporo beer, frozen rosé, and dirty calamansi—there was something for everyone to enjoy.
